MEMBERSHIP OF THE BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

The College is seeking to appoint three individuals to serve as full Board Members who can also contribute to the activities of the various Board Committees.

As an organisation that strongly reflects our local communities, we are seeking a diverse range of individuals with the skills and experience to enhance the activities and accountabilities of our Board.

We would especially welcome applications from ethnic minorities or individuals with a disability to reflect the broader demographics of the Forth Valley area.

Of particular interest would be individuals with skills and experience in operational and strategic management. In addition, interest in or experience of emerging digital skills, driving commercialism within the public sector, environmental issues, particularly decarbonisation; and/or legal and governance matters would be advantageous.

Membership in the Board of Management will allow individuals to contribute to a College with over 13,000 students a year, a College with over 600 staff members and a College that has a justified reputation for excellence in the Forth Valley, Scottish and UK educational sectors.

Membership is non-remunerated and would require that individuals attend meetings of the Board and its Committees (around eight meetings per year, in the daytime or early evening).  Relevant expenses would be reimbursed.
