Moat is a forward thinking organisation with a clear ambition to bring an end to housing need. We are one of the top 30 housing associations in the UK with over 20,000 homes spread across south east London, Kent, Essex and Sussex and an ambitious development programme, completing over 550 homes last year with over 1,700 in the pipeline. We are looking to appoint non-executive directors who can enrich the existing board and contribute to Moat’s evolution in what is an exciting but challenging environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring continued good governance through board and committee meetings, and an equally important role outside of the boardroom, contributing effectively across the organisation; it’s important to us that our board members invest in our vision.
At this stage we are looking to appoint individuals with expertise in the following:
- A track record of the strategic leadership of end-to-end customer service within organisations of at least comparable scale and complexity; candidates must have operated at the most senior levels of the business.
- A clear understanding of the wider operational and cultural implications of driving major change around customer-facing operations, particularly where technology is a feature.
- We are keen to invite applications from candidates within and outside of the housing sector.
Prior non-executive experience is not essential for these roles, but you must have a clear understanding of the role of the board and have operated at a strategic level.
