Sofology is a leading £150 million turnover Omni-Channel furniture retailer with 34 stores across the UK with a brand new Digital e-commerce platform landing later this year with our Head Office based in Warrington. Each and every Sofologist has one common goal; helping the customer "Feeling at home on a sofa you love”.

Sofology is looking to further strengthen its Board of Directors with the appointment of an additional Non Executive Director from a Marketing & Brand background to provide fresh perspective and independent judgment to the operation of the organisation and delivery of the strategy. You will be a creative and flexible thinker; open to new ideas and able to modify views and constructively challenge the management team.

You must have proven experience working with strategic challenges from a Marketing & Brand context ideally from a Retail/Digital background although this is not essential. Candidates need to have held board directorships and currently holding such a role and a substantial recent track record of reporting to and advising Boards will be essential.

The successful candidate will attend twelve Board meetings per annum and become a member of some smaller operating boards. Attendance at these meetings alongside additional activities, will result in time commitment of approximately 3 / 4 days per month.
