CPFT is a member of Cambridge University Health Partners, one of five academic health science centres in the country; aspiring to become one of the leading academic health organisations. They are closely associated with Europe’s largest biomedical campus in Cambridge.
The role of the Non-Executive Director (NED) is to assist in shaping the Trust’s aims, values and strategic goals. They will play a vital role in overseeing the Trust’s future direction in an increasingly commercial environment. The Non-Executive Director will support the Trust’s executive team, providing advice and productive challenge, encouraging a culture of innovation, new thinking and a strong sense of accountability. They will act as an Ambassador for the Trust, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that the needs of the Trust’s values are upheld.
The Governors of CPFT are looking for an individual who has excelled in their field and who can offer a range of skills gained from the public, private or voluntary sectors and can assist in the future development of the Trust. We are interested in candidates with extensive expertise in business development, quality improvement and either HR or marketing. In particular we are looking to appoint someone who is keen to support us in improving our performance and developing the delivery of patient centric services to our broad client groups.
The candidate will have had senior leadership or board-level involvement gained within a range of organisations and be able to demonstrate first- class communication skills, with a commitment to the values of public service and the NHS.
£13,000 paid in monthly arrears. 3 days per month.
