Golding Homes is an award winning provider of over 7,300 high quality affordable homes in Kent, committed to make a real and lasting difference to our communities. Established in 2004, we have invested over £150m in regenerating our homes and estates, built over 1200 new homes for local people and also have a portfolio of shared ownership, private rent properties and commercial units.
We are financially strong, with ambitions to grow and achieve even more. It is an exciting time to join us and to help shape our future. The appointment of a new CEO and Director of Resources in 2017 has brought about a new energy and vigour along with a real appetite for business transformation.
Our current Board Chair, Roger Ford, will be retiring in 2018 and we are seeking an exceptional individual with strong strategic, business and leadership skills to build on Roger’s legacy. The new chair will continue to work with colleagues to challenge and support the senior management team to make a significant contribution in the way we operate, the services we deliver and to our 20,000+ residents over the coming years.
To succeed you will need substantial strategic board-level experience, with a track record of achievement in your field. Commercial, and ideally social and regulatory, property experience would add particular value to steering our future. You will also need the gravitas to be an ambassador for Golding Homes and possess the drive, commitment, organisational and influencing skills to lead us. If you believe that you have the passion, vision, credibility and experience for this role we would be delighted to hear from you.

We welcome interest from all suitable candidates; however, anyone offering a background in Treasury Management & Investment, Business Growth and Diversification, ICT and Commercial Property Management would be an advantage to develop the skills mix of the Board.
Our Board seeks a profile that reflects our communities and possess a diverse range of skills and experience. We will actively pursue this ambition subject to the skills and experience requirements being met.
